Version with a square signature on the reverse. Most likely a later reprint. Abrasions of browning and gilding. The condition of the item is good. Bronzed zinc, gilded bust (checked with a spectrometer), diameter 19 cm.

A nice patriotic box. The central plaque is based on an image from a casket made by Edward Krasnosielski’s workshop and later reproduced by the Łopieński Brothers during the interwar period. The image is modeled after a 1885 watercolor by Kossak commemorating Colonel Wiktor Roman’s victorious duel with four French dragoons. The item is in very good condition.
