A pair of officer's epaulettes of a second lieutenant (then lieutenant) of the 54th von der Goltz Infantry Regiment, originally of the 7th Pomeranian Regiment. The epaulettes used in the gala uniform of a German officer (Prussia) before 1914. The regiment consisted of three battalions: 1st and 2nd were stationed in Kolobrzeg, 3rd in Koszalin. Dimensions: 43,40 x 26,40 x 8,50 cm. Made of blackened sheet metal with the Reichsbank logo. Minimal signs of use. Very few, spotty corrosion marks. It was used to store valuables such as money, jewelry, gold, or documents in a bank vault. Today, it can serve a similar function or provide an interesting solution for storing numismatic collection.
