Cast brass, turned, base twisted to thread; height 24 cm; not signed. Northeastern Poland (Bialystok? Grodno? Vilnius?), second half of 19th century. Condition: minor dents, scratches and traces of use.
Gilded bronze candelabra and beautiful patina - 19th century. They have a distinct Baroque style, with a tripartite base and curved legs (volutes), and very ornate decoration that includes a shell motif (rocaille) in the center of each leg. Berlin, 1848-1854 On a moulded, exalted foot decorated with volutes, channel beads and acanthus, with a baluster shaft topped with a sleeve, in which the setting is set with a vase sleeve in the center with a plate-shaped profitka and with two volute arms decorated with acanthus ending in analogous sleeves with profitka.
